Maui Spectacular

90 Minute Event

Circumnavigate the island of Maui by helicopter and see sites only accessible by air. Before stopping on the slopes of Haleakala, admire the magnificent West Maui Mountains with numerous waterfalls. This flight over Haleakala National Park and tropical Hana Highway showcases Maui’s great diversity.

Takeoff from Kahului Airport and fly toward the West Maui Mountains and deep valleys. See Iao Needle – one of Maui’s most famous landmarks and a historic site – from the air before soaring in and out of valleys protected by steep walls lined with tropical greenery. The pilot navigates past numerous misting waterfalls including the Wall of Tears with 17 falls trickling from razor-sharp ridges.

Then fly above Lahaina and pass the Molokini crater on your way to an exclusive landing spot high up on the slopes of the dormant Haleakala volcano. Here, enjoy some beverages while you take in the serene surroundings and the crisp mountain air.

Continue the journey with a bird’s-eye-view of the crater of Haleakala – the largest dormant volcano in the world. The backside of the volcano offers far-reaching views over the Pacific and toward the Big Island as you fly above wide-open ranch land. It won’t be long before the pastures give way to the tropical Hana Highway with its bamboo-covered valleys, waterfalls, and pools.
